What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is earning a commission by promoting products from a retailer.
An example of this is social media influencing. If you have a following on social media and there are products relevant to your audience then by sharing these with your audience and using your referral link you can earn commission from any sale that is made.
Is affiliate marketing dodgy?
No affiliate marketing is not at all dodgy, in fact your most recent purchase online may have been made using a referral link without you even knowing. It is regularly happening on social media sites like Instagram & Facebook as well as video platforms like YouTube.
Do I have to have social media for affilate marketing?
No you do not. One of the earliest and most powerful forms of affiliate marketing was through blog posts and people creating written content on a subject. Any relevant products can then be linked into the content via text links, images or graphic banners using a referral link.
How does it work?

Each time you make a sale from your referral link you will recieve 10% of the total sale commission, please note: the total sale comission does not include postage costs.
Your referral link has a cookie expiry period of 7 days, so if the link is used any sales during this period will qualify for a commission.

Coupon code discounts
During the year we also run affiliate coupon codes where you can offer your customer a discount on our products, providing your referral link for commission. Usually this creates higher sales volumes so even though there is a discount we find that it creates more volume sales per customer.
